it is true. However, say KPMG, DDT, PWC, EY, they are international firms, and all these Big 4 claimed that they are ONE FIRM (i.e,, firm in HK are same as firm in the China, and the rest of the world). They encourage secondments all over the world. However, in the foreign countries, like US and UK, the accounting society will treat members fair and fight for the members' benefits, like fight for less working hours, more study leave and publish professional journals (and make good suggestions to the government). However, HKSA did nothing for the members, even the content of the journal published are not up to professional standard, i think.
